SPOON “Goes Euro”
I’m a big Spoon fan - or more specifically, I’m a fan of an old acquaintance who just happens to BE the band … Britt Daniel. He and I met back in the early 1990s while we were both working at Origin Systems, Inc. - the computer game company. He gave me a copy of his demo tape (what became Telephono) that was recorded over an old Red Hot Chili Peppers cassette tape. I was hooked and have been an admirer ever since.
There’s always been a big quotient of Spoon songs on my radio stations. I can’t wait to get a copy of this Euro Only release. Currently, we’ve got just about all of their older albums in rotation and we look forward to getting a copy of the newest single, Underdog.
